What is Endometriosis? Endometriosis is a process where endometrial tissue normally found on the inside of the uterus is transplanted to areas such as the fallopian tubes, ovaries, or intestine. This condition is often, but not always, associated with infertility or pelvic pain. It can only reliably be diagnosed with laparoscopy.
